6 Awesome parks in Zachary, LA

Zachary Community Park has some great features! Located at 20055 Old Scenic Hwy in Zachary, the newest built park in Zachary has so much to do. You can find a basketball court, sand volleyball court, stocked fishing ponds, skate park, Dog park, playground, walking trails, fitness area, picnic area, splash park and lots of green space.

One of the fishing piers. Enjoy the sunshine and throw a line. Notice the shade area near the tree. Perhaps that is where the fish are?? This is a picture of the small pond. The large pond towards the back was stocked with fish which are grown now. Throw a line or use the walking trails to get some exercise.

With three courts and lots of sand, you can spend the afternoon having a blast with friends. Bonus: Bring the sand toys and let the kids make a sand castle. It can be a semi beach day on a whim for the littles!
